Beesalt Balcony is a new chef-driven restaurant in Del Mar, California with a "peek-a-boo" view of the ocean.

The menu features Mediterranean flavors with a focus on Greek, Italian seafood and locally grown produce.

The beer and wine list features locally produced craft beer along with award winning global wines. Our restaurant décor is relaxed seaside chic.

THE LEGEND OF BEESALT

According to Greek legend, in a little coastal village just outside of Thessaloniki, where Costa’s daddy is from, lives a very unique bee. This bee produces salt, not honey.

The bee fliesout over the Aegean Sea looking for a certain seaweed that flowers, then takes the nectar from this flower, brings it back to land and produces salt. Thus, beesalt! TM
